Gregson Gastar

Gregson Gastar, salon owner and manager, holds many accolades in the hairdressing industry, as an experienced and successful stylist. Gregson has won awards such as National Senior Stylist of the Year, L'oréal Colour Trophy winner in Queensland Mens division, and National Men's Image of the Year. He has been a compere as well as cut hair on stage at Sydney's Hair Expo, and has previously worked in and owned a franchise of an international hairdressing giant.

Gregson's passion for wearable, flattering looks, combined with his knowledge and expertise in his field is obvious in his work. Gregson's work has been published in local and national magazines such as New Idea, Instyle and Marie Claire, and he has also worked with a few Aussie celebrities.

Another of Gregson's artistic talents is photography. He has taken all the fashion images featured on this website, and is the sole photographer in all of Gastar Hair's photo shoots, collections and competition entries.

Jo Harris

Formerly working alongside Gregson in a global award winning salon on the Gold Coast, Jo's hard work and commitment to the hair and fashion industry is reflected in the impressive responsibilities she was able to fill. Some of her previous roles include: Style Director, Educator, and her key involvement in many photo shoots, fashion design and tailoring.

Being such a natural creative All-Rounder, Jo is naturally taking on the role of Creative Director for style cuts at Gastar Hair.

Jo's specialty is in cutting as she inspires and educates upcoming newbies in the industry. So with a wealth of industry experience up her sleeve, Jo is helping to pave the creative future of Gastar Hair.

Dan Payne

Since childhood, Dan has held a passion for hair. Finally he has the opportunity to share his passion and develop it into a new career, being Gastar Hair's newest apprentice. Dan comes from a background of marketing, promotions and hospitality work. With a fun loving personality and wickedly infectious smile, it's not hard to feel happy being around our new man. Dan's keen desire to make his mark in the hairdressing industry is equally matched by Gastar Hair's determination to support it.

Marnie McInness

Marnie McInness is a trained and experienced senior specialist in colour and formal event hair: such as Upstyles, Formal Hair, Bridal and Wedding hairstyles. With her quiet confidence, she is very approachable. Clients love how Marnie uses her great eye for detail to adapt the latest styles into wearable, manageable hair.

Lauren Mitchell

Lauren Mitchell is a 2^nd year apprentice who applies the best tints and foils Gregson has ever seen in a young stylist. She also does a kick ass head massage! Being quick to grasp the latest in styling techniques and procedures through ongoing education and development, she has already progressed to Level 3 Training.
